    Cambridge International Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a Program/Project Manager to join our team in Stuttgart, Germany. Qualified candidates must have an active DOD SECRET clearance, TOP SECRET/SCI preferred.

    The Program/Project Manager will be primarily responsible for performing non-administrative managerial and supervisory duties. The Program/Project Manager will support all work efforts and oversee performance and contract obligations.

    Candidates must have prior project management experience and success managing diverse teams. Individuals must be willing and able to travel.

    The Program/Project Manager will:

    • Oversee contract performance.
    • Work closely with the government program manager in establishing project objectives, plans, and budgets.
    • Assist with the development of task performance work statements, technical proposals, and participate in proposal reviews in a firm fixed price contract environment supporting DOD and Joint Military operations customers.
    • Focus on increasing complex management assignments supporting DOD or intelligence community intelligence analysis, information technology, or systems engineering and technical assistance contracts.
    • Build a solid business base with military customers and effectively motivate and direct contractor technical and support staff personnel.
    • Develop strong working relationships with customers, technical staff, managers, and peers.
    • Schedule workload utilizing Microsoft Office and MS Project.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Masters degree in a related field and 3 years of recent, specialized experience; or Bachelors Degree in a related field and 6 years of recent, specialized experience; or 10 years recent, specialized experience
    • Prior experience supporting a Joint Military operations customer
    • Prior military experience is preferred
    • PMP preferred
    • DOD SECRET clearance, TOP SECRET/SCI preferred

  • Qualifications

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Profitably grow existing accounts and establish new accounts to obtain assigned sales objectives.
    • Develop a sales plan with specific and measurable sales objectives with the Regional Manager that supports the overall company objectives.
    • Develop business development programs with each key account that include sales objectives and product and sales training.
    • Develop and maintain a market development database that includes the key accounts and prospects, the key builders, framers, contractors, engineers and building officials within the territory.  This is a living document and will be shared with the RSM, MBP Marketing Department and other appropriate personnel.
    • Develop and maintain an incremental business report tracking growth opportunities through existing and target accounts.
    • Develop and maintain a report that tracks new business, business in jeopardy and plans to protect it and business lost to the competition.
    • Develop and manage channel including engineers, builders, framers, code officials, distributors and dealers.
    • Contact and educate engineers and other design professionals; builders, framers and building officials within the residential and commercial retro-fit markets to ensure USP, Hardy Frame and Moment Frame products are accepted and specified throughout the territory.
    • Regularly obtain and develop knowledge of territory, including: code and product issues, distributors, dealers, framers, component manufacturers, commercial accounts and others as required.
    • In all business practices, be mindful of profit and promote the organization as a company of people, service, and product.
    • Complete paperwork, i.e. expense reports, call reports, and target account reports.  Follow-up activity on a weekly basis to ensure customer satisfaction.  Keep Regional Sales Manager aware of sales conditions in the territory.
    • Attend Trade Shows for customers and industry associations.
    • Work closely with Customer Service and Engineering departments at the Regional Plant to ensure all MBP categories provides the proper products, code approvals, and services to meet annual sales objectives and customer expectations.
    • Other duties as required.
    • Attendance during regular work hours and overtime as required.
