We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized Human Resources Assistant to be the main liaison between our operations team and our outsourced HR service provider. You will help oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruiting, onboarding, and training, play a key role in strategic planning and business administration, and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players. Responsibilities: • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. • Performs as the main point of contact/liaison for our outsourced human resources service provider. • Manages communication with incoming new hires in process of Onboarding. • Manages Labor law updates and postings. • Manages handbook updates. • Coordinate in-person interviews for potential candidates. • Oversees and facilitates new hire orientation. • Manages employee records and filings. • Reviews payroll and commission payouts for approval. • Coordinates and documents disciplinary actions and exit interviews. • Manages the relationship with the benefits broker. • Conducts various research projects and/or special projects. • Plans, coordinates, and facilitates company special events, conferences, and/or workshops. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred. • Minimum of three (3) years of previous HR experience, including payroll. • Experience in mortgage banking preferred. • Paycom experience preferred. Compensation: $55,000
