THE PERKS • Employees work fully remotely with a monthly Tech stipend as well as a monthly Health stipend to use toward Fitness, Nutrition, Mental Health, or even a hobby. • Paid training & CLEs • 1 week paid Office Closure at Christmas • Summer Fridays (Summer Fridays are a half-day schedule from June-August) • Over 8 additional holiday office closures • Paid time off • Excellent work/life balance Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000+ depending on experience + bonus Responsibilities: • Develop strategies and plans for client employment and HR matters from start to finish. • Manage responses to demand letters, labor board disputes, and internal compliance audits. • Direct and oversee the work of other staff to ensure deadlines are met. • Maintain a focus on staying informed about current and upcoming laws. • Provide training and education to staff and clients. • Offer advice and guidance to small business owners. • Create educational resources for small business owners. • Execute projects within specified timelines. • Handle demand letters and negotiate settlements effectively. • Address government agency complaints and audits promptly. Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years of experience providing advice and counsel to California Employers regarding California employment and labor laws is required. • Demonstrated commitment to advocating for small businesses is essential. • At least 5 years of customer service experience is mandatory. • Preferably, at least 1 year of experience working in a remote/virtual setting. • Preferably, at least 1 year of experience in supervising staff. • Previous experience working in a technology-dependent business environment is necessary. • Our ideal client has previously worked in an HR role at some point in their career. This is a unique quality of our firm and allows us to give practical, proactive advice that clients have come to rely on! Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000 + bonus DOE
