OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The HR Generalist supports a wide range of human resources functions, helping to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations across the organization. This role serves as a key resource for employees and management, contributing to areas such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. Responsibilities: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist with bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly associates • Assist HR Manager with filing and data entry into the tracks and the company’s HRIS • Provide support to employees and members of leadership with personnel concerns, FMLA and other leave requests, terminations, and other HR-related tasks • Facilitate employee onboarding orientation as needed • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law • Send communication out, via email or internal messaging boards, to an entire organization or individual departments regarding various topics and events • Write, update, and post job ads; review resumes and prescreen qualified candidates • Coordinate employee engagement activities throughout the year to improve morale and help demonstrate the resort's core values • Assist in entering new hires, terminations, and other employee changes into the HR system • Act as backup to the HR Manager as needed • Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Analytical thinker and problem-solver • Strong organization skills • Detail-oriented • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • At least one (1) year of Human Resources experience is required • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources Development, Administration, or any related field is preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time Compensation: $25 to start
