We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized human resources manager to lead our HR department. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruiting, onboarding, and training, play a key role in strategic planning and business administration, and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players. Responsibilities: • Help shape decision-making through data-driven recommendations on strategic planning, business administration, and the annual budget • Enact and implement human resources programs including benefits, compensation, company evaluation, and training • Process and maintain internal documents, paperwork, records, and reports • Optimize and enforce personnel policies and procedures • Liaise between employees and managers and advise on pertinent issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment Qualifications: • Professional certification from the SHRM or similar organization • 3-5 years of experience as an HR manager, upper-level HR generalist or in a senior position in HR management • Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills • Must possess a bachelor’s degree in business management, HR management or similar major • HQ is located in San Mateo, CA. The role will require commuting daily to HQ or a restaurant location during a regularly scheduled work week. However, the frequency of visits to restaurant locations to support field operations will vary based on business and team member needs. Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 annually
