Our rapidly growing personal injury law firm is looking for an HR Generalist who cultivates a positive and vibrant culture and has a strong HR background. The HR Generalist will work at the helm of our office operations and set expectations with our office staff that meet our high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a human resources department. A POSITIVE attitude and effective communication are key qualities we are seeking. The candidate must have high emotional intelligence, show empathy, and seek excellence. Responsibilities: • Ensure office policies are adhered to and reflect our company's high standards; • Carry out human resources tasks and office administration duties; • Source for candidates to fill job openings; • Ensure the implementation of new and ongoing policies and procedures by training staff and auditing compliance; • Manage and update the Employee Handbook and policies, and procedures software; • Foster the firm's core values by scheduling staff events and cultivating relationships; • Manage payroll for all employees, including documenting employees' Paid Time Off, sick days, and tardiness; • Manage the office's secretarial duties, including leading day-to-day operations and overseeing administrative assistants; • Keep office systems running smoothly, including ordering office supplies, organizing filing systems, maintaining office equipment, and optimizing the HR budget; • Speaking with building management and vendors to ensure office presentation and services are up to date. Qualifications: • 3+ years of HR experience required; • Excellent emotional intelligence to handle day-to-day interactions and difficult issues; • Excellent interpersonal skills to exemplify and foster the firm's policies, procedures, and core values; • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills; • Office Management experience strongly preferred; • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, QuickBooks, and similar systems; • Message us your favorite ice cream flavor after applying to verify your attention to detail; • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
