Job Description

OVERVIEW  

This position will support the Digital area in all website, social media and digital marketing efforts. From supporting day-to-day content posting to researching platforms to help grow our database of designers and influencers, through platforms such as Houzz and Instagram. Copywriting opportunities also abound for the right person. 

Flexible schedule for 10 - 20 hrs/week. 

SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

The functions listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  

• Researching social platforms for installation images of our brands while following guidelines to repost and build out connection with designers and designer database  
• Research social platforms and websites for design-centric content and influencers  
• Target existing contacts on social to follow; includes adding info’ to database with tagging criteria  
• Research and follow tradeshows and publications to create additional designer connections  
• Other tasks as assigned  
• Copy/content writing opportunities exist for the right person  
• Must be a clear communicator and have the ability to adapt from day-to-day work tasks

Qualifications

• An interest in Digital Marketing  
• Impeccable attention to detail  
• Strong communication skills   
• Familiarity with social platforms  
• Fast learner, able to multi-task  
• Proficient with Excel  
• Copy/content writing skills a strong plus
