Position: SR Project Analyst

Job Description: -The Sr. Project Analyst – Value Management is responsible for supporting the implementation of initiatives that are focused on delivering strategic value to Hoag.

Under the guidance of the Vice President or a Project Manager, they will leverage their analytical skills to support metrics development and performance measurement on data-driven initiatives. They also support the translation of strategic information and complex data analyses into compelling, executive-level plans and presentations. Location: Irvine, CA

Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of relevant work experience.

Understanding of a broad range of data types – administrative, financial, demographic, market, clinical, etc. - as well as an understanding of business performance metrics, benchmarks, targets and calculations.

Financial analysis and financial modeling experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience: Degree/training in industrial engineering, finance, or business preferred. Previous experience in performance/process improvement projects including, but not limited to, those involving Lean or Six Sigma methodologies preferred Experience managing healthcare-related projects and familiarity with the healthcare provider industry preferred. Familiarity with healthcare-specific data and systems preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant work experience OR High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Certifcations Preferred: Project Management Institute certification (e.g., CAPM, PMI-PBA), Certification in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
