    SUMMARY: Directs, supervises, plans, and implements the programmatic and some administrative duties of the employed staff at The Dog House. Maintains customer relationships and works directly with the General Manager and Business Owners.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Can perform all Kennel Technician and Receptionist role responsibilities

    Has a positive attitude, customer service skills and maintains a positive relationship with clients

    Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations ensuring timely completion of kennel tasks

    Is self-motivated and requires little to no direction managing day to day activities

    Can make decisions in the best interest of The Dog House

    Uses common sense when dealing with the unknown issues or daily situations that require quick decision making. i.e., staff call outs, employee dissatisfaction.

    Assigns shift tasks for Kennel Technicians

    Can perform all software functions including some administrative tasks

    Take supply inventory

    Supervises, motivates, and signs off staff training

    Monitors quality of work; assuring staff conform to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations

    Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance.

    Coaches staff following The Dog House disciplinary policies and provides corrective action

    Reports to General Manager

    Must be able to collaborate with General Manager and Business Owners

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Directly supervises employees

    Indirectly supervises employees

    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

    Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems .

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    2-5 years working as a Kennel Technician or Veterinary Technician

    1-5 years managing staff

    Must possess a current valid driver's license

    Must have reliable transportation

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    12 hour shift

    8 hour shift

    Weekend availability
