Responsibilities: Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Qualifications: Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base Candidates must have passed the bar exam Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA) Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • ABA Accredited law school applicants only
