    Principal duties/Roles and responsibilities::
    The Client is looking for a motivated, hardworking, and curious Presales Cloud Engineer who is passionate about innovation, to work with the National Integration Services (NIS) team. This group is part of the Information Technology Services Group of the Client, which has partnered with National IT to operate on behalf of the entire bank. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work with NIS who enables the integration of systems and applications across the Client enterprise utilizing specific middleware technologies to support business objectives for internal customers such as Cash, Markets, Statistics and Reserves, Bank Supervision and Regulation, and external customers including the US Treasury.

    This opportunity will allow you to broadly apply your engineering skills across various NIS technology solutions efforts, as well as build your skills in other areas by being exposed to various aspects from inception, through design, build, and deployment. You will assist Customer Success in engaging with prospective customers, curate integration architecture patterns and share valuable customer insights with product teamsThis role will not be limited to one product vertical, rather it will span all products as we extend our capabilities into the cloud. This role is critical to accelerating our ability to scale and on board new business, improve our infrastructure as code, policy as code and engage with the cloud teams to deliver new capabilities.

    To be successful in this role, you must be a customer-focused engineer who is organized, a self-starter with stellar communication skills, who can work independently building relationships and driving technical solutions from inception to completion.

    This position requires you to be cloud savvy and have a proven ability to evangelize established application integration patterns and identify new patterns in a highly dynamic environment while maintaining a strong relationship with our customers and partners.

    1. Required Skills/Must Have:
      Demonstrated technical expertise across a variety of cloud technologies, platforms and solutions including Kubernetes, Ansible and AWS/Azure native automation

    2. Working knowledge of cloud-native AWS integration capabilities including AWS API Gateway, AWS File Transfer and other integration vendor solutions

    3. Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups of authorities

    4. Proven ability to prepare/review standard design patterns, identify new patterns or use cases for solutioning by product teams.
      Understanding of complex security frameworks and risk controls
      Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
      Ability to work effectively independently or in a team environment
      Strong analytical, collaboration, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills

      Travel will be required (10%)

    Preferred Skills /Desired but not required:
    Practical experience with microservices and API management as well as legacy monolithic application challenges
    Knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components in a geographically distributed environment
    Understanding of security design for enterprise software systems
    Experience with and/or working knowledge of Client Lines of Business and applications.

    Education
