The Information Security Engineering Leader is responsible to lead and maintain security controls, define standards and translates standards. Responsibility to identify, document and communicate complex security and technical issues simply.

• Assess the software/systems security architecture, ensuring that it meets the business and security requirements as well as industry regulations.
• Work with other software/infrastructure architects and leads to ensure that the security components (security technology, operations, and management) are integrated into the design as defined in the requirements.
• Participate in decisions regarding hardware, network products, and software for security architecture.
• Ensure adherence to all security industry best practices (OWASP, SANS, NIST).

Certifications/Experience requested:

CISSP, CCSP

5 years applications security, network security, enterprise and application security standards

APIs, AWS, Cloud Services and Xaas

NIST, IEC 27001, COBIT, TOGAF, SABSA

• 4 years college degree
• CISSP COMPLETED, NOT STUDYING FOR OR IN PROGRESS
• SR / TEAM LEAD ROLES REQUIRE 7+ YEARS DIRECT EXPERIENCE
• Analysts require 5+ years' experience
• Experience leading and consulting in Project Build outs from a Security Perspective (No System Admins, with an aspect of security as part of their jobs).
• Complimentary Skillset Gaps I am looking for to build out team:

1. CLOUD SECURITY EXPERIENCE (AZURE, O365)
2. Containerization (Kubernetes, Openshift)

• API Security

1. Functional Security and Reference Architecture experience
2. Penetration Testing experience
