MasterCare Human Resources Assistant provides crucial administrative support for daily HR functions, managing tasks like maintaining employee records, onboarding new hires, processing payroll/benefits, managing HR calendars, and serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all HR operations. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, serving. This position is both remote 2 days per week and in office 3 days per week. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
· Recruitment Support: Conduct background checks, prepare offer letters.
· Employee Records: Maintain and update employee databases & files
· Onboarding/Offboarding: Coordinate new hire orientations, process paperwork, assist with exit interviews and termination processes. · Benefits & Payroll: Assist with benefits administration, payroll processing, and resolving related issues.
· Administrative Duties: Schedule meetings, manage HR calendars, answer employee questions, prepare reports, and handle departmental emails.
· Employee Relations: Support HR manager with policy implementation, address grievances, and ensure compliance.
· Special Projects: In coordination with Leadership Team, assist with special projects.
Requirements:
· Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, or 3-5 years experience in a Humans Resources role
· Ability to anticipate, including an awareness that goes beyond the task-at-hand
· Attention to detail and quality control
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Proficient with Web based technology
· Proficient with Microsoft office suite
· Punctual, organized and efficient
· Maintains a professional demeanor
· Bilingual or multilingual is desired but not required
· Demonstrated skills in planning, scheduling, coordinating and evaluating projects
· General skills in program planning, implementation and evaluation
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Ability to embrace organizational goals and work in a team-oriented environment
· Ability to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements

· The ability to perform the physical demands of this position, including:
o Sit and/or stand for long periods
