    Job Description

    As the Human Resources Coordinator at TA Services, you’ll be the go-to person for our team members, supporting them through onboarding, benefits, and HR processes. You’ll help create a positive, welcoming experience for every employee, coordinate orientations and team-building activities, and partner with leadership on HR initiatives and projects.     • Shift: Standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be needed for events or special onboarding sessions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Live and promote TA Service’s values while delivering outstanding HR support and maintaining confidentiality.
    • Guide new team members through onboarding, including HRIS tasks, I9s, paperwork, and orientation logistics.
    • Help team members understand and navigate their benefits, support open enrollment, and track enrollment deadlines.
    • Plan and coordinate team-building activities, manage HR files, and assist with employee relations matters as needed.
    • Partner with leadership on special projects, training initiatives, and HR metrics tracking.

    Work Environment:

    • You’ll be based at the Southern Indiana Logistics Center (SILC). This role involves office work, collaborating with warehouse teams, and occasionally helping at events or off-site activities.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • HS Diploma Required
    • Degree preferred but will accept experience in lieu of degree.

    Experience:

    • 2 years in an HR role, preferably in a busy warehousing environment.
    • Comfortable using HRIS and other HR software.

    • Self-aware, organized, collaborative, proactive, and genuinely cares about supporting people.

    Additional Information

    Pay/Benefits/Perks

    • $21 - $24 Hourly
    • Accrue up to five PTO days in your first year, plus two weeks’ vacation and additional PTO after your first anniversary.
