    Job description:

Human Resource & Human Capital Development Specialist

There are jobs. There are careers. And then there are callings.

At Nurse Galina’s Caregiving of New Jersey, we do not simply staff shifts. We build lives. We protect dignity. We strengthen families. We create opportunity.

We are seeking a Human Resource & Human Capital Development Specialist who understands that HR is not paperwork — it is people’s futures.

This is not a transactional HR role. This is not a role where you help people fill forms. This is a leadership role in shaping our corporate culture, building careers, and building economic mobility.

We are looking for you and who are you someone may ask?

You are a person with heart. You are a person with passion. You believe work can change a family’s entire future.

    You are:

    Kind but firm

    Engaging and relational

    Structured and systems-oriented

    Committed to excellence

    Passionate about helping others grow

Energized by building career ladders and economic ladders

You do not just hire caregivers and nurses. You develop professionals.

You do not just process onboarding paperwork. You shape futures.

    What Does This Role Entail?

You will serve as the architect of our people systems and the guardian of our corporate culture.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

    Executing our hiring system

Attracting mission-aligned caregivers, nurses and office professionals

Screening for both competency and character

    Human Capital Development

    Building structured onboarding pathways

Creating career ladders from Companion → CHHA → Lead Caregiver → Field Supervisor

Supporting our director of Operations, Quality & Growth & Staff trainer in-service training and professional development systems

Identifying leadership potential and mentoring emerging talent

    Retention & Engagement

    Strengthening morale and workplace culture

    Developing recognition programs

Supporting performance improvement plans with compassion and clarity

    Compliance & Structure

Ensuring HR systems meet New Jersey home care regulatory standards

Maintaining accurate documentation and workforce metrics

Supporting the CEO and Director of Quality Operations with workforce planning

What Success in This Looks Like

    Within 6–12 months:

    Reduced caregiver turnover

    A clear internal promotion pathway

    Strong onboarding systems

    Documented HR workflows

Engaged staff who feel seen, supported, and challenged

A culture where excellence is normal

    This Role is Very Important Because;

In caregiving, when staff are unsupported — clients suffer. When staff are developed — families thrive.

We are building a company that:

    Elevates caregivers into professionals

    Creates economic advancement opportunities

    Protects the elderly with excellence

    Operates with integrity and structure

If you are someone who believes that human capital is the most valuable asset in any organization — this role was designed for you.

You Possess These Ideal Qualifications & This Job May Be Yours

HR, Organizational Development, or related background

Experience in healthcare, home care, or service industries preferred

Knowledge of NJ labor regulations and home care compliance a plus

Experience designing training systems and career ladders

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Systems thinker with heart

We are not looking for someone to “fill a role.” We are looking for someone to build something meaningful.

If you believe that people deserve structure, opportunity, accountability, and encouragement — and you want to help build a workforce that serves older Americans with dignity — we would love to meet you.
