    Approximately 10 -15 hours per week (flexible based on workload)

    This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who has already built a successful career and now prefers a flexible, part-time schedule while still contributing meaningful work in a professional setting.     About the Role

    You’ll oversee all aspects of payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and HR support, while also prescreening candidates for open roles (no interviews required).

    Key Responsibilities

    Process biweekly payroll in APS (or similar system)

    Administer benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and profit-sharing

    Manage annual open enrollment and ensure compliance with federal and state laws

    Occasionally prescreen candidates for staff and professional positions

    Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes

    Maintain and update policies, procedures, and the company handbook

    Track and manage PTO and sick time, ensuring notification compliance

    Keep employee records and HR documentation accurate and up to date

    Ideal Candidate

    You’re a highly organized, tech-savvy HR professional with deep experience in benefits, payroll, and compliance. You enjoy working closely with leadership, value clarity and professionalism, and take pride in maintaining a positive, drama-free culture.

    You’ve worked in a $20MM–$30MM business environment and understand how to operate efficiently in a growing, entrepreneurial firm.

    Required Experience & Skills

    7+ years HR experience in a growing organization ($20MM–$30MM preferred)

    Deep expertise in benefits administration (401k, health, profit-sharing)

    Strong experience with payroll systems (APS preferred)

    Advanced Excel and Office 365 skills

    Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and professionalism

    Solid understanding of HR compliance and reporting requirements
