    Job Description Summary

    This successful candidate will support the Maximus Human Resources Support Center. The Human Resources admin will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks on the phone, via email, and web chat with internal and external clients. This candidate must be professional and pleasant with exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Must have knowledge in Benefits questions, meeting deadlines, and assist in special projects as directed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Primary responsibilities will be to respond to inquiries via phone and tickets.
    • Research appropriate solutions and work with necessary parties, such as Human Resources, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits and IT team to resolve issues.
    • Provide guidance to customers, staff and management regarding MAXIMUS processes regarding workflow and proper approvals for audit tracking of HR functions.
    • Performs data entry in a variety of Human Resources software such as Workday, iCIMS, and Costpoint.
    • Develop proficiency in policy and procedure interpretation and responds appropriately to customer inquiries.
    • Maintain records of customer responses consistent with requirements.
    • Assists with miscellaneous departmental duties and special projects as required.
    • Prioritize time to meet demanding deadlines and SLAs.
    • Provide Benefits overview questions.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 0 - 2 years of related experience

    Additional Required Skills and abilities:

    • Requires computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
    • Data entry experience required.
    • Experience or capability to learn multiple applications including Workday, Recruiting database, and Costpoint.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Requires independent judgment, good organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
    • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work successfully both in a team environment and independently.
    • Assists Teammates with their workloads and acts as a team player.
    • Maintains a professional demeanor especially during difficult and stressful situations.
    • Punctuality and consistent attendance required.
    • Will be cross trained to support all administrative functions for the HR Shared Services team.
