Essential Functions:
Receives and screens telephone calls; answers inquiries on job openings, application procedures; provides information regarding benefits, policies and procedures;
Receives payroll papers; follow up on missing or incomplete information
Answer questions on a daily basis (vacation, sick, benefits, etc. )to supervisors and/or employees
Receives, sorts and distributes office mail
Develops and prepares announcements
Maintains company bulletin boards
Prepares a variety of reports (attendance, hours worked, head count, etc.)
Support to the human resource staff
Assists the Human Resource Manager and/or Director in entering, updating, retrieving files, records, reports and documents
Performs routine file maintenance of all personnel paperwork
Creates and distributes employee identification badges
Provides customer service to all levels of personnel
Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
High school graduate and two (2) years of general clerical experience
Must be able to operate a variety of standard office equipment including a computer and related software
Understand and follow oral and written directions
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Learn and apply the rules and regulations of the human resource office
Plan and prioritize work
General clerical and record-keeping techniques
Bilingual Spanish a MUST
