Prestonwood Country Club, a premier private club in Cary, is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations, recruitment, and employee onboarding.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR team in all areas of recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detailed-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support HR operations, maintain employee records, update HR database.
Assist with recruiting, interviews, offers, and pre-employment screenings.
Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training activities.
Respond to employee HR inquiries and assist with reports.
Manage the employee newsletter.
Participate in organizing company events, meetings, and other HR-related activities.
Provide administrative support to the HR team.
Qualifications
1–2 years of HR or administrative experience.
Strong organization, communication, and confidentiality skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HR systems and Canva a plus.
High school diploma OR equivalent Administrative or HR experience required; HR or Business degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
$21–23/hour
