    Our client is a fast-paced, research- and technology-focused organization with teams across multiple locations. They are looking for an HR Business Partner to support managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who can build credibility quickly, handle sensitive situations with sound judgment, and help leaders make practical decisions in a constantly evolving environment. The HRBP will be part of a collaborative People team and will work closely with Recruiting, Talent Development, Legal, Compliance, Workplace, and business leaders.

     

    Position details:

    • Partner directly with managers on employee relations, performance concerns, coaching, organizational changes, and team effectiveness.
    • Support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, leave administration, development, and offboarding.
    • Help managers prepare for and navigate difficult conversations, performance feedback, and employee concerns.
    • Support annual HR processes, including performance reviews, merit and bonus planning, compensation changes, mobility, and HRIS transactions.
    • Work with internal People partners on engagement, retention, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
    • Create and maintain practical HR processes, manager guidance, and employee communications.
    • Ensure employment documentation, internal policies, and people practices are handled consistently and in accordance with applicable laws.
    • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements that make the employee and manager experience more effective.
    • Serve as a trusted, confidential resource for employees and leaders.
    • Support additional People Operations projects as business needs arise.

     

    Ideal candidate:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or People Operations roles.
    • Experience supporting a range of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding, talent development, compensation, and recruiting.
    • Background in a high-growth, fast-changing, or highly technical environment. Experience in financial services, technology, professional services, or another complex industry is preferred.
    • Strong judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
    • Ability to coach and influence leaders at different levels of an organization.
    • Clear, direct communication style and strong relationship-building skills.
    • Comfortable working through ambiguity and managing multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
    • Working knowledge of employment law and general HR compliance requirements.
    • Experience using HR systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, or similar platforms.
    • A collaborative approach and interest in building broad People Operations experience across areas such as benefits, payroll, mobility, immigration, and compensation.
