    Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager - Your Job Duties

    You'll work closely with managers and employees to deliver exceptional human resources (HR) services and business partnerships. As the company continues to grow, so will your role, including overseeing your HR team, leading a team, and contributing to the overall strategy.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to managers on a wide range of employee matters, including performance management, safety protocols, and career development
    • Empower leadership to effectively address performance issues and ensure a safe work environment through expert guidance on progressive discipline and safety regulations
    • Ensure company compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations, including wage and hour, safety, and labor relations
    • You'll dig into the data to help make smart HR decisions that support the company's success and create more opportunities
    • Utilize HRIS to generate meaningful reports and conduct in-depth HR data analysis
    • Lead the employee review/performance management process, including elevating existing processes
    • Provide day-to-day HR support across various generalist functions
    • Foster strong relationships with both union and non-union employees, building trust and facilitating positive employee relations across the organization

    Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to employee relations matters and the proactive, daily management of human resources (HR) operational tasks.

    Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager - Required Skills, Experience & Fit

    You have:

    • Proven HR experience with a strong understanding of employee relations, investigations, progressive discipline, and human resources compliance
    • Experience in coaching leadership and managers with human resources matters including performance conversations / serving as the “go to” resource for managers for employee relations and human resources
    • Knowledge and expertise with California wage and labor laws and regulatory compliance
    • Proven ability to manage a consistent and effective performance review process
    • Skills connecting with diverse personalities and unique dynamics within teams from trade labor up to executive-level workforce
    • A strong sense of urgency, drive, and ownership of HR initiatives
    • Proficiency with HRIS to perform data analysis, data mining, and identify trends
    • A calm demeanor: You can maintain composure and effectiveness when navigating complex or sensitive HR matters

    Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager - Desired, Not Required

    You might have:

    • Human Resources certification (PHR / SPHR / SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP or related)
    • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in HR or a relevant field
    • Familiarity with the unique HR challenges and dynamics of the construction or trades industries
    • Experience with Union labor / union agreements or working in a union environment
    • Professional Employer Organization (PEO) or HR Consulting experience

    This role is based near Roseville, CA, and you will work on-site at the office (typical schedule 8-5 with flexibility and some earlier meetings anticipated). You may also be asked to support our Stockton location a few days per month.

    Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) / HR Manager – For you:

    You will work from the Company Headquarters (near Roseville, CA) and is a 100% in-office role.

    Your compensation will be a $125,000 – 135,000 base salary plus a very generous incentive bonus plan calculated as a percentage of your salary, up to 20% of your salary.

    The Company will also cover the costs of your professional licensure and professional development / continuing education.
