    Human Resources Business Partner

    EDUCATION: Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or related experience. SHRM or HRCI Certification Preferred.

    EXPERIENCE: Minimum seven years of Human Resources Management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information. Strong interpersonal skills are critical to the success of this position. Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.


    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    May be responsible for any combination of the following:

    • Direct and manage the duties of the HR Generalist including development and disciplinary counseling.
    • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process ensuring the adequate use of ADP and smooth transfer of applicants through the hiring process.
    • Design, implement and maintain monthly new hire orientation.
    • Conduct manager development training.
    • Ensure proper State and Federal labor postings throughout the property.
    • Maintain up to date job descriptions, org charts, and HRIS records.
    • Review, respond and attend all Unemployment Insurance Cases.
    • Investigate and resolve employee relations items such as harassment and discrimination claims as well as general concerns in a timely fashion.
    • Provide recommendations to managers on employee discipline.
    • Interpret and enforce company policies, procedures and standards.
    • Assist managers with terminations to ensure compliance with FLSA.
    • Stay up to date on all employment laws and regulations both state and federal.
    • Design and implement uniform inventory and ordering procedures.
    • Coordinate and lead risk and safety measures to provide a reduction in Workers Compensation Claims.
    • Maintain employee file compliance and receive a passing audit score annually.
    • Oversee licensing and HR compliance pertaining to state, federal and company requirements.
    • Plan and execute all employee recognition events.
    • Build strong affiliations with external partners that will enhance the company as an employer and a member of the community.
    • Partner with the General Manager at off property events with external partners.
    • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
    • Other duties as assigned by the General Manager and Corporate Director of HR & Labor Relations.
