Leading national healthcare firm seeks a Remote Human Resources Compliance Analyst to ensure the adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal HR policies. This position is responsible for monitoring compliance, supporting audits, analyzing HR processes, and mitigating risk across a large, multi-state organization. This is a fully remote role, requiring strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of employment regulations in the healthcare sector.
- This is a One Year (12 month) Contract role, with the potential to go permanent.
- The position is remote and there are no geographic restrictions, but must reside within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with federal and state laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, HIPAA, ACA, OSHA).
- Conduct internal audits of employee records, HRIS data, I-9s, licensure verification, and other key compliance areas.
- Support investigations into employee complaints, policy violations, and potential regulatory breaches.
- Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to HR leadership.
- Collaborate with HR partners, legal, and risk management to implement corrective actions and policy updates.
- Track regulatory changes impacting HR and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
- Assist with compliance training and educational initiatives for HR staff and managers.
- Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities, audit outcomes, and remediation efforts.
- Participate in HR system implementations or upgrades to ensure compliance considerations are addressed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of HR compliance experience in a large, multi-site organization; healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of employment law, HR auditing practices, and healthcare-specific regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
$37.50 - $47/hour
