    About the Company

    Bila Solar is driving the next generation of American solar innovation, by transforming American solar production from our HQ in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana — strengthening the domestic supply chain and creating advanced manufacturing jobs in clean energy. Led by highly-experienced industry veterans, we’re among the first-to-market to offer US-made solar cells in a 550w dual-glass module that can deliver exceptional durability and top-tier performance. But, we’re not stopping there. Our facility also produces an innovative, ultralight, 17-pound 520w module, designed for commercial rooftops and low-load-bearing structures, bringing solar to places traditional panels can’t reach.

    Key Responsibilities :

    1. Serve as the face of the company as well as the voice of the employee by being frequently visible in the production area, regularly speaking with all employees to understand any issues/problems and working to resolve any issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
    2. Serve as Project Manager for international visitors’ transportation, lodging, and other needs.
    3. Assist HR by serving as the point-of-contact for employees with benefits/payroll questions and working with our PEO to resolve them quickly.
    4. Support new employees by handling New Hire Orientation as well as assisting in payroll/benefits enrollment, IT set-up, employee ID badge & timeclock set-up, etc.
    5. Project Manager for temporary employees: coordinating start/end dates with the temp agency, on-boarding of new temps, serving as their primary point-of-contact for any HR-related issues.
    6. Actively promote our company and our vision to employees & visitors, both in-person and via social media.
    7. Assist with Customer Service as needed.
    8. Take ownership of office support and admin tasks as needed
    9. Actively promote a strong employee culture of clear, open communication and a focus on problem-solving.
    10. Other duties as assigned.

    Education: College degree preferred, though not required.

    Experience: 5+ years of experience working semi-independently in a people-centric HR or Office environment.

Strong professionalism and leadership skills; Solid communication and negotiation skills; Energetic, with a strong team-building motivation; detail-oriented and able to complete tasks under time constraints; Understands and supports the Company’s vision; Works well with others, even in difficult situations; focuses on solving problems rather than placing blame; Conducts themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the company.
