    Job Description

    The Fairmont Olympic is currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our Talent & Culture (T&C) team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions and ensuring a positive experience for all Fairmont employees. Your primary objective will be to deliver outstanding customer service, assist employees with their queries, and contribute to the overall success of the T&C department.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage T&C phones and provide excellent customer service to employees
    • Handle the distribution and collection of T&C mail from the mailroom
    • Administer parking validation codes for employees
    • Assist employees with password resets, create name badges, and print ID cards
    • File T&C paperwork in an organized and efficient manner
    • Update employee statuses promptly and accurately
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees
    • Process employment verifications with attention to detail
    • Keep T&C posters around the building updated with new and relevant information
    • Update Talent Scout job postings to attract top talent
    • Post monthly birthday flyers and distribute cards to celebrate colleagues
    • Complete ORCA transportation orders on a monthly basis
    • Track Food and Alcohol permits for Food & Beverage department
    • Conduct quarterly I9 audits to ensure compliance
    • Perform yearly locker room audits
    • Coordinate monthly cafeteria decorations to enhance the work environment
    • Plan and execute Welcome-to-Work events to boost employee morale
    • Collaborate with the T&C team to plan and organize hotel events
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
    • One year of experience in a Human Resources or administrative role (required)
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems is a plus
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
