The Benefits and HRIS Coordinator is responsible for supporting the set-up, administration, and day-to-day operations of the company’s employee benefits programs. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance (including ACA), and timely resolution of employee and vendor-related benefit issues. The position serves as a key liaison between employees, management, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain efficient benefits operations. 3 days per week in the office, location Center City, Philadelphia Responsibilities: • Respond to employee and management inquiries related to benefits, enrollment issues, life events, etc. • Maintain accurate benefits records and HRIS data; routinely audit carrier file feed errors and enrollments between carrier and internal HRIS systems. Coordinate with vendors and carriers to resolve issues or discrepancies. • Support the annual Open Enrollment process by reviewing and testing system configuration and employee communications. • Audit ACA eligibility tracking through the year and resolve any non-compliance issues. Conduct year-end ACA compliance audits and ensure accuracy for IRS reporting (Form 1095-C). • Support the set-up of new companies in the HRIS system and with all benefit carriers. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. • 1–3 years of experience in benefits administration or HR support. • Knowledge of insurance and benefit regulations (including ACA). • Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience in ADP WFN preferred. • Close attention to detail with strong auditing and data integrity skills. • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. • Strong organization skills, having the ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
