Human Resources Coordinator
We're looking for an HR Coordinator to support the employee experience from onboarding through ongoing HR support. This role partners closely with leadership and employees to support employee relations, new hire orientation, benefits administration, HR compliance, and employee engagement initiatives.
Position Summary
The HR Coordinator supports the employee lifecycle after hire and serves as a key resource to employees and leadership. This role focuses on employee relations support, new hire orientation, benefits administration, compliance coordination, HR systems, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Director to ensure HR processes are consistent, compliant, and support a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Performance Management Support
- Serve as an HR point of contact for employee questions and policy clarification
- Support managers with performance coaching, documentation, and corrective action processes
- Assist with employee concerns and help facilitate communication between employees, managers, and HR leadership
- Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture
New Hire Orientation
- Conduct new hire orientation covering company culture, values, policies, and expectations
- Review handbook policies, code of conduct, and workplace standards
- Provide benefits overview and introduce key HR contacts
- Serve as a resource for new hires following orientation
- Maintain the orientation schedule and ensure required components are delivered
Recruiting Support (Limited Scope)
- Partner with the Recruiter to support hiring needs as needed
- Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Participate in interviews and provide feedback when appropriate
- Provide recruiting coverage during peak hiring periods or recruiter absence
Benefits Administration
- Act as an HR contact for benefits questions
- Support open enrollment and life event changes
- Coordinate with brokers, vendors, and third-party administrators
HR Compliance & Documentation
- Support compliance with employment laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Assist with audits, reporting, and policy enforcement
HR Reporting
- Generate HR reports and track workforce metrics and trends
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with planning company events, celebrations, and recognition activities
- Coordinate vendors, supplies, and logistics for employee events
- Gather feedback to improve engagement initiatives
Manager & Leadership Support
- Provide guidance to managers on HR processes and policies
- Support retention initiatives and workforce planning
- Assist with HR process improvements and policy development
