An AmLaw-ranked firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support HR operations across multiple offices. This role partners closely with leadership on employee relations, recruiting, and compliance, while driving consistent HR practices firmwide. This position is onsite during training, with a hybrid schedule of 4 days in-office thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee core HR functions: onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leave, and HRIS management
- Support full-cycle recruiting and lead onboarding efforts
- Serve as a key resource for employee relations, including investigations and performance management
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across jurisdictions
- Maintain employee data, reporting, and HR metrics
- Coordinate training, compliance tracking, and engagement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of HR experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- HRIS experience required; SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
