    Position Summary

    ILS Gummies is seeking a motivated, people-focused Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle. This on-site role partners with employees, supervisors, managers, and leadership to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, leave management, and day-to-day HR operations.

    This position is ideal for an HR professional looking to expand their experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to a growing organization. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of Human Resources and play an important role in supporting employees and business operations.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Support day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, and policy administration.
    • Assist with recruiting activities, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment requirements.
    • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
    • Serve as a resource to employees regarding company policies, attendance, benefits, leave programs, and general HR inquiries.
    • Assist with administration of employee benefits, workers' compensation claims, and leave programs.
    • Support performance management processes, corrective actions, investigations, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Partner with supervisors and managers to promote employee retention and a positive workplace culture.
    • Assist with HR reporting, audits, compliance activities, and recordkeeping requirements.
    • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, FDA, GMP, EEO, FLSA, and I-9 requirements.
    • Assist with employee communications, training coordination, and special HR projects.
    • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.

    Qualifications Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles and employment practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
    • Bilingual English and Spanish.

    Preferred

    • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, food production, nutraceutical, or regulated environment.
    • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, or leave management.
    • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, FDA regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
    • Experience supporting workers' compensation claims or employee investigations.
    • SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification.
