Our client, a well-known automotive manufacturer/supplier, is looking for an HR Generalist to join their facility in the Greater Huntsville area. You’ll be the go-to for employee relations, handling workplace issues, and keeping things fair and compliant. Alongside investigations, you’ll help build strong team relationships and encourage a safe, positive workplace.
What you’ll do:
Be the primary contact for employee relations and handle investigations into conflicts or policy issues.
Coach leaders on performance, attendance, and conflict—keeping things consistent and fair.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and help with reporting.
Support HR programs, training, and engagement initiatives.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related
4+ years in HR with strong employee relations experience (manufacturing is a plus)
Knowledge of employment law and experience managing workplace issues
Strong communication, discretion, and data skills
Work environment: Office and plant, PPE required in plant areas. Some standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Flexibility for shifts or weekends as needed.
