They are seeking a skilled and versatile Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment, managing a broad range of HR functions with a strong focus on recruitment and compliance.
The HR Generalist will work closely with leadership and employees to ensure smooth HR operations, foster a positive work environment, and maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws.
*This is a direct hire andonsite position in Blairsville, GA.
Core Duties:
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, background checks, and onboarding.
Administer and ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel data, benefits, attendance, performance documentation, and separation details.
Manage and update HR systems, generating reports as needed for leadership.
Support employee relations efforts by addressing workplace concerns, fostering engagement, and promoting positive communication.
Assist with the administration of employee benefits, Workers’ Compensation claims, and other HR programs.
Partner with leadership to coordinate training initiatives and promote a culture of professional development.
Contribute to cross-functional HR projects and provide coverage for other HR functions as part of the team’s intentional redundancy approach.
What We’re Looking For:
3–4 years of hands-on HR experience covering a range of functions, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.
In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, federal and state employment laws, and compliance requirements.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment with shared responsibilities.
