Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist with a focus on Engineering Recruitment plays a key role in attracting, hiring and retaining top technical talent while supporting core HR functions. This role partners closely with engineering leadership to understand workforce needs, drive full-cycle recruiting for highly skilled technical positions and ensure a positive candidate and employee experience. The ideal candidate combines strong recruiting expertise with a solid foundation in general HR practices.
Responsibilities:
Technical Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering and other specialized technical roles, including intake meetings, sourcing strategy development, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer coordination.
• Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, role nuances, and workforce planning needs.
• Source and attract qualified technical talent using a variety of methods including direct sourcing, referrals, networking, and job postings.
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Support recruiting metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
HR Generalist
• Support training and development activities, including content development, coordination, and delivery of training programs as needed.
• Co-administer Medical, Family, Pregnancy, and Personal Leaves of Absence in accordance with policy as well as federal and state regulations.
• Assist with employee relations matters by providing guidance, documentation support, and consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
• When requested, conducts periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements; maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.
• Develop and prepare various reports for the local site and other stakeholders/entities.
• Administer various human resources procedures for all company personnel; assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Perform data entry and maintain HR records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support special projects and other HR-related initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
• BA/BS in Human Resources, Management, Business or related field
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for engineering or other specialized technical roles.
• Working knowledge of HR Generalist functions including training and development, leave administration and employee relations.
• Knowledge of state, federal and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA/CFRA/PDL, PFL, ADA, FLSA and EEO.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to use sound judgment in evaluating situations, determining appropriate actions and understanding potential consequences.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with UKG or similar HRIS, and ATS (TalentHub, SmartRecruiter) systems desired.
• Experience supporting training delivery or developing training materials is a plus.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$93,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
