    Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist who is fluent in both English and Spanish. This role supports our employees and management team by handling HR processes, payroll entry, onboarding/offboarding, training programs, and promoting a positive workplace culture while ensuring clear communication across all levels of the company.

    Key Responsibilities

    Serve as the main HR contact for employees, answering questions and addressing concerns in both English and Spanish.

    Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, reference checks, and hiring.

    Coordinate and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, orientations, training, exit interviews, and final documentation.

    Translate HR policies, training materials, and communications to ensure understanding across all employees.

    Support employee relations by providing guidance to supervisors and employees, mediating conflicts when necessary.

    Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, I-9s, and compliance documentation.

    Enter and review payroll information, including hours worked, wage changes, and deductions, to ensure accurate and timely processing.

    Oversee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and support payroll with employee changes.

    Coordinate and communicate benefits enrollment, leave requests, and workplace safety programs.

    Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs for employees in both English and Spanish, including compliance, safety, and skills development.

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

    Qualifications

    Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

    2+ years of Human Resources or payroll experience preferred.

    Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and best practices.

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

    Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems (preferred).

    Preferred Skills

    Experience with payroll entry, reconciliation, and reporting.

    Experience managing onboarding and offboarding processes.

    Experience creating and delivering employee training programs.

    Experience in recruitment, employee training, and conflict resolution.

    Familiarity with workplace safety programs and bilingual training delivery.

    HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
