(AID) is a growing yet established consulting firm located in central New Jersey, offering professional services in non-destructive testing and evaluation (NDT/NDE) of highway infrastructure (bridges and pavements), pavement evaluation and design, geotechnical design and subsurface investigation, subsurface and utility mapping, and forensic studies.

The HR role at AID is critical in shaping our organizational culture, supporting our employees, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and company policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with AID’s business goals.
Oversee the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
Manage employee relations, providing guidance and resolving conflicts effectively.
Administer HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Coordinate performance management processes, including evaluations, goal setting, and career development planning.
Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Develop and manage compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.
Organize training and professional development programs to enhance workforce skills.
Maintain accurate HR records and generate HR reports for management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in engineering, design, or infrastructure-related industries.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
