    Job Description

    The Human Resources Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance. As a Human Resources Intern, you will work closely with HR professionals, support day-to-day operations, and gain practical exposure to people-focused processes that support a positive employee experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Scan, organize, and upload paper documents for secure digital storage in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Run and support weekly new hire orientation sessions, prepare materials, track attendance, and assist new employees with onboarding requirements.
    • Complete regular audits of digital employee files to ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist with recruiting efforts by reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and supporting new hire hiring processes.
    • Assist with maintaining employee records, HR systems, and documentation while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Support planning and execution of employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and internal communications.
    • Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including calendar coordination, filing, scanning, and process documentation.

    • Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and candidates .
    • _Confidentiality & Integrity _– Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
    • Organizational Skills – Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
    • Problem-Solving – Ability to identify issues, ask thoughtful questions, and support solutions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Technical Proficiency – Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort learning HR systems and applicant tracking systems.

    Tools & Systems

    • Software * JIRA, Office 365, ADP, SmartRecruiters, Digital Drawer and other software.
    • Equipment * Computer, phone, high-speed internet, and other standard office tools.

    Education & Qualifications

    • Earning a degree in Human Resources or related fields

    Working Conditions

    • Office-based position in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment.
    • Hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday in office.
