The HR Manager is responsible for managing the recruiting, onboarding, and retention of employees. The HR Manager will help to uphold, implement and maintain company policies and labor laws. Reports to the HR Director. The HR Manager shares and embodies the company’s culture and values, with the goal of building a strong, motivated team.
Responsibilities of the HR Manager include:
Recruiting and Staffing:
Maintains the job postings and posts hiring signage
Assists in recruiting events and advertising
Reviews applications and maintains applicant statuses
Policies and Labor Laws:
Keeps team members informed of policies and procedures in the team member handbook
Exercises accountability as necessary for Team Member attendance, punctuality, and uniform policies
Retention:
Assists with reward programs, team outings, and other engagement activities
Schedule and conduct employee evaluations, ensuring constructive feedback
Requirements and skills:
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Knowledgeable in employment laws and store policies
Loves to connect with people and is a strong promoter of the Team Culture
