Cullman Internal Medicine, PC, a patient-focused internal medicine practice established in 1976, seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations. This role involves managing all core HR functions for our team of providers and staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and terminations while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA.
Oversee employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs, coordinating open enrollment and vendor relations.
Handle payroll processing, timekeeping, and compensation analysis to ensure accuracy and adherence to labor laws.
Coordinate staff training, development, and team-building initiatives; maintain employee handbook and HR policies.
Resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and foster a positive workplace culture in line with practice goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Work experience in lieu of degree will be considered. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
3+ years of HR management experience, ideally in healthcare or medical practices.
Proficiency in HRIS/payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, iSolved), Microsoft Office, and benefits platforms.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration, and payroll compliance.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented approach.
