HR Manager / Executive Assistant

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 per year + bonus Job Type: Full-time Start Date: Hiring Immediately
About Us NY Monda Window and Door, Inc. is a window manufacturing company established in 2000 and headquartered in Corona, Queens, NY. We operate four locations across Queens and Nassau County and employ approximately 40+ team members.
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager/Executive Assistant to oversee our human resources operations and support our growing team. This role will also provide high-level administrative and organizational support to C-level executives and/or senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage HR operations for approximately 40+ employees across 4 locations
Lead recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with federal, NY State, and NYC employment laws
Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
Oversee payroll coordination and benefits administration
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Support leadership with workforce planning and HR strategy
Strengthen employee relations by organizing various team-building, off-site events, and holiday parties
Provide high-level administrative and organizational support to C-level executives and/or senior leadership
Serve as a liaison between executives, employees, clients, vendors, and business partners
Assist with various company insurance and legal matters
Assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned
Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of HR management experience
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
Strong knowledge of New York labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Compensation
$70,000 – $85,000 salary (depending on experience)
