Human Resources (HR) Manager - Your Job Duties
You'll work closely with managers and employees to shape and deliver exceptional HR services and initiatives.
You will:
- Navigate employee relations issues with staff, provide expert guidance, coaching, and support to foster a positive work environment
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing coaching and guidance on employee-related matters like performance management, progressive discipline, investigations, and training and development
- Collaborate with leadership and lead the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives
- Ensure adherence to all HR-related laws and regulations, including benefits administration, wage and hour compliance, workers' compensation claims, and investigations
- Drive performance management processes and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and development. Help us level up our team!
- Drive the recruitment process, from sourcing top talent to creating a seamless onboarding experience

Human Resources (HR) Manager - Required Skills, Experience & Fit
You have:
- Proven HR experience with a strong understanding of employment law, compliance, workers' compensation management, safety, and workforce planning
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills able to work seamlessly with both frontline and leadership teams
- Comprehensive expertise in California wage and labor laws and regulatory compliance
- Experience driving engagement and strengthening company culture through close collaboration with management, ensuring our values resonate throughout the organization
- Experience leading recruitment efforts from developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, extending offers, and new employee onboarding
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment where you bring solutions and ideas to management
- Driven the creation of an ideal Human Resources (HR) infrastructure through creative, "out-of-the-box" solutions
- The ability to work daily in the Santa Ana, California office
Human Resources (HR) Manager - Desired, Not Required
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in HR or a relevant field
- Human Resources certification (PHR / SPHR / SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP or related)
