Apply today. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and participate on the Executive Committee to align people strategies with hotel business goals. Recruitment & Staffing: Direct hiring strategies for both hourly and management positions, managing seasonal staffing adjustments and onboarding processes. Employee Relations: Foster an inclusive work culture, manage grievances, resolve conflicts fairly, and guide management on corrective actions. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws (e.g., ADA, FMLA, FLSA), handle workers' compensation, and maintain accurate employee records. Training & Development: Coordinate orientation and continuous leadership development programs, driving long-term succession planning. Compensation & Benefits: Manage local wage surveys, assist with payroll administration, and oversee benefit programs. Qualifications: Experience: 4 plus years of progressive HR experience, with a preferred leadership background in the hospitality or hotel industry. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management. Professional certifications like PHR are a plus. Or relevant experience. Core Skills: Deep knowledge of California labor regulations, strong conflict-resolution and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in HRIS platforms. Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 yearly
