    Summary:


    Our award-winning client is seeking a Human Resources Manufacturing to join their team. Our well-respected Consumer Goods client is searching for a Plant Human Resources Manager to join their key facility in Macon, MO.

    As a critical member of the plant leadership team, you'll serve as a strong business partner, guiding initiatives that enhance employee engagement for approximately 350 employees. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, you'll lead a team of three direct reports, overseeing all facets of HR, including employee and labor relations, talent acquisition, training and development, EEO/AAP, benefits, compensation, and continuous improvement. This is a highly visible role that blends both strategic oversight and hands-on tactical execution. Relocation assistance is available.


    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic HR Guidance: Provide expert HR guidance and support across all plant operations.

    • Employee Relations Management: Effectively resolve complex employee relations issues, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

    • Talent & Organizational Development: Drive talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives to build a strong future workforce.

    • Full-Cycle Staffing: Manage comprehensive staffing processes, from recruitment and selection to seamless onboarding.

    • HR Program Implementation: Implement, audit, and refine HR policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.

    • Training & Development: Identify training needs and oversee the design and delivery of impactful training programs.

    • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and mitigate HR-related risks.

    • Culture & Engagement: Lead cultural assessments and spearhead the execution of action plans to foster a thriving workplace.

    • Performance & Compensation: Oversee performance review cycles and contribute to effective salary planning.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree.

    • 6+ years of progressive HR experience within a manufacturing environment.

    • 2+ years of supervisory/management experience in a production plant setting.

    • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and peers.
