Our manufacturing client in Kenner is seeking a Human Resources Generalist III to support HR operations, lead talent acquisition, and build training programs. This role reports to the HR Manager and serves as his backup, offering strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

HR Management

• Build strong relationships with employees and managers.
• Lead employee relations, performance management guidance, and culture initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and support salary, benefits, and planning data.
• Guide HR support staff and act as backup to the HR Manager.

Talent Acquisition

• Oversee recruiting operations and collaborate with external agencies.
• Improve hiring processes for efficiency and candidate experience.
• Ensure HR team is cross-trained on recruiting functions.
• Maintain accurate, standardized job descriptions.

Training & Development

• Create and manage company-wide training programs.
• Lead supervisory and employee development initiatives.
• Manage orientation, recognition programs, and training metrics.
• Maintain schedules, records, and ongoing needs assessments.
