    Job Description

    Individual needed to be part of a development operations team supporting computerized testing projects. Your role will include implementing, configuring, supporting, managing and maintaining the network infrastructure on the AWS Cloud. Other tasks include assisting in the technical design, planning, implementation, and performance tuning of mission critical enterprise systems, software and infrastructure.

    MINIMUM TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT work experience.
    • Security Clearance and Security Plus certification or the ability to obtain this certificate.
    • Working knowledge of Linux specifically Red Hat 7 including system, services, users, networking, security, etc.
    • Experience in managing and monitoring Red Hat 7 servers.
    • Scripting skills including Bash, JSON, Python, YAML or other scripting/programming languages.
    • Knowledge applying AWS including EC2, Networking and Routing, IAM, S3.
    • Expertise in managing and monitoring AWS infrastructure with skills in the following:
      • Managing Linux servers including Jenkins, Nexus, SolarWinds, Nginx, Fortify SSC, Nessus, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana.
      • Working SQL knowledge with relational databases and query authoring.
      • Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) concepts including Jenkins, build agents, automation scripts.
      • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, Terraform, Packer.
      • Concepts of containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS.
      • CM tools, processes and best practices, including Git
      • TLS, SSH, Security Certificates, GPG, encryption, networking and security.
      • Backups and restores, disaster recovery and high availability.
      • Sonatype Nexus repository manager, Yum repos, Docker registry.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Supporting Java development, good knowledge of Maven and POMs.
    • Atlassian software support, including Confluence and Jira.
    • Supporting Agile software development teams.
    • Overall 1 to 3 years experiences with strong to expert level skills in many (not necessarily all) of the tools and technologies listed above.
    • Overall 1 to 3 years experiences with installation, maintenance and administering Linux servers, services and applications.
    • Must be able to work independently taking high level directions and putting the solution in place.
    • Fast learner, ability in researching and picking up new technologies and skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability working with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills establishing and maintaining effective relationships with employees, clients and partners.
