    JOB SUMMARY

    Provides diversified support to all areas of the department. Responsible for front desk receptionist, data entry and maintenance of all employee demographics with appropriate confidentiality and timeliness. Assist new hire employees with new hire paperwork.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Associates degree or equivalent in work experience

    2. Two years office and healthcare experience with increasing administrative responsibilities, preferably in Human Resources preferably in HRIS

    3. Strong knowledge of software applications such as Word and Excel

    4. Strong verbal and written communication skills

    5. Solid organizational skills with the ability to prioritize

    6. Must have ability to work independently and handle a wide variety of public contact with tact and discretion

    7. Ability to handle sensitive and/or personal information in a confidential manner

    JOB DUTIES

    1. Demonstrates the Resilience Healthcare Customer Service Values, which are key in providing quality service to patients and customers.

    2. Coordinates new hire process including health screening, assistance in completing forms, assists candidates and employees in the completion of paperwork such as applications, HR Transaction forms.

    3. Assembles and distributes HR benefits packets and New Employee Orientation packets.

    4. Date stamps and maintains a tracking system for all paperwork received in HR. Distributes paperwork to appropriate HR representative. Distributes mail on a daily basis. Generates resume receipt cards, interview response cards, and new hire confirmation letters.

    5. Greets visitors and answers incoming calls. Directs calls to appropriate contact as needed.

    6. Responsible for reviewing pre-certification applications for tuition reimbursement and processing requests for tuition reimbursement consistent with Hospital policy and relevant state and federal regulations.

    7. Reviews, prepares, reconciles monthly invoices, and sets up invoices for payment. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, disbursements, and the Hospital. Completes reports for management as requested.

    8. Maintains employee files for current and terminated employees. Files all documents in employee files.

    9. Appropriately responds to and answers any questions regarding benefits, including sick leave, vacation, health, dental, and visions benefit plans, and employee demographic information from Hospital staff and managers. Takes initiative to resolve complaints or errors. *

    10. Processes HR forms for all employee changes. Reviews the forms for accuracy and consistency with Hospital policy, returning incomplete forms to supervisors.

    11. Calculates and processes manual employee adjustments as required.

    12. Organizes and attends departmental meetings and programs, gathers documentation for meetings, takes minutes, distributes necessary correspondence.
