Human Resources Specialist- Recruiting
Job Description
Human Resources Specialist - Recruiting Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a full cycle recruiting process. Actively source, assess, recommend and hire prospective candidates for assigned positions within the corporate and property work groups.
Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations for both exempt and nonexempt positions
Execute sourcing strategy (internal and external) to build candidate pipelines and support college recruiting initiatives
Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate activity tracking, internal transfer coordination, and offer letter preparation
Provide information and interpretation of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to management and team members
Collect, analyze, and prepare reports regarding employment-related matters and labor compliance
Conduct team member orientation and onboarding to ensure a positive new hire experience
Coordinate team member engagement activities, recognition programs, and health and benefits events
Maintain confidentiality and provide high-level internal customer service to support team member HR inquiries
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients to achieve staffing goals
Assists team members with troubleshooting minor technology or system issues
specific to the shared services systems, and escalates unresolved issues within
established timelines.
Performs general administrative office duties, including but not limited to:
scheduling meetings, creating agendas, taking minutes, and creating forms and
other documents.
Performs other job related duties as requested.
