We are a growing Chinese restaurant group operating multiple brands and locations across the U.S. Our team is focused on building strong operations, consistent execution, and long-term growth. We are looking for a results-driven HR Supervisor who understands the pace and reality of the restaurant industry.
Position Summary
The HR Supervisor will lead and drive all core HR functions including recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, and training. This role is not administrative — we are looking for someone who can build systems, solve problems, and deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute hiring plans based on store operations and new store openings
Lead hiring for key roles (store managers, supervisors, kitchen positions, corporate staff)
Improve job descriptions, screening standards, and interview processes
Manage recruitment channels (Indeed, referrals, agencies, etc.)
Track and analyze hiring metrics: applicant flow, interview rate, offer acceptance, onboarding success
Review and improve salary structures across different roles
Provide recommendations based on market and internal performance
Support development of incentive and bonus structures
Continuously improve employee benefits to enhance retention
Build and refine performance evaluation systems for store and corporate roles
Work with department leaders to define clear, measurable goals
Ensure performance reviews are executed effectively (not just formality)
Use performance data to identify top performers and underperformance
Design and implement training programs (new hire, management, cross-department)
Improve employee capability and operational consistency
Ensure training leads to real improvements in execution and teamwork
Manage HR Specialist and ensure execution quality
Maintain clear tracking systems for recruitment, employee data, training, and performance
Identify HR-related risks and propose practical solutions
Qualifications
5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or independent role
Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or multi-location operations strongly preferred
Proven ability to deliver hiring results and improve HR systems
Strong execution mindset — not just process-driven
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Fluent in both Mandarin and English (required)
Familiar with U.S. labor practices and compliance is a plus

Compensation
$80,000 – $100,000 annually (based on experience)
