POSITION SUMMARY:
The Talent Partner is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting and onboarding process to include meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. This entails sourcing and screening a diverse pool of candidates, coordinating the interview and hiring process, achieving compliance results and facilitating orientation, training and development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
· Collaborates with department managers and Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
· Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the branch with leadership.
· Responsible for job posting and the advertisement processes and develops a Recruitment Plan for each location with interviews with hiring managers.
· Screens applications and select qualified candidates working with hiring managers.
· Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
· Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting site interviews as well as providing feedback or suggestions that guarantee compliance.
· Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff to ensure the ATS and HRIS are accurate and all employee data is fully onboarded.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company’s policies.
· Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
· Serve and support the team with various tasks and training across roles to ensure efficiency in the department
· In collaboration, coordinate employee events, such as staff recognition or holiday events, from start to finish.
· Direct experience with ADP, I9 and MA CORI/SORI required.
· Assist in the management of the learning management system and new employee orientation, involving tracking usage, running reports and providing user access/termination.
· Participates in job fairs as necessary.
· Maintain accurate electronic personnel and HRIS records, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
· Maintain the Performance Management processes.
· Assist the Chief People and Culture Officer with special projects as needed.
· Travel from Metro office to other branches to provide HR support, particularly during high volume staffing events, such as Summer Camp, etc.
· Performs other duties as assigned. · Support the Generalist with payroll changes including new hires, terminations, earnings and benefit deductions; and support Open Enrollment processes with benefit vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2- 4 year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative to pursue partnerships and referral relationships for staffing.
Two years of experience recruiting and onboarding preferred.
A minimum of two years’ experience in Human Resources and administrative support, including data entry/processing, managing employee files and records, and HR practices and principles.
Knowledge of basic Massachusetts employment/labor laws a must!
Intermediate experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with HRIS and ATS a must!
Ability to use active listening, logic and reasoning to solve problems.
Communicate effectively in writing and electronically. Strong computer skills are preferred with Teams and SharePoint.
Must be highly organized and can work to maintain confidential matters.
Ability to work in a team and individually and establish relationships.
