  • Responsibilities

    The Human Resources Generalist is accountable for managing all daily Human Resources activities. We are looking for someone that has experience with employee relations, payroll, managing candidate staffing, employee training and development, and managing programs, policies, and procedures in support of the company culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Regularly walks the manufacturing floor to build relationships, understand workplace dynamics, and serve as a visible and approachable HR point of contact, with the goal of addressing employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and conduct investigations while maintaining a positive work environment.

    • Ensure effective employee relations in matters of supervision, discipline, performance management, motivation, discharge, and promoting a positive work environment.

    • Supports payroll processing.

    • Supervises HR Coordinator.

    • Leads recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviewing, and selection processes.

    • Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company with the support of the HR Coordinator.

    • Take active role in talent development process; Responsible for coordinating education and training programs and maintaining training records.

    • Communicates Company sponsored Benefit plans and assists employees with any questions.

    • Work closely with plant management across 3 facilities.

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, personnel records and company files.

    Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial relations or business administration, or other relevant professional experience.

    • At least 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience with proven expertise across the full HR lifecycle (manufacturing environment experience a plus).

    • Must have ability to exercise independent judgment, handle highly confidential sensitive information, flexing to changing needs and situations.

    • Able to relate to and coach employees at all levels in the plant environment.

    • Must be able to work onsite.

    • Must be available for travel between company locations.
