Job description:
Implement and provide consultation in mental health, mental retardation, or substance abuse educational and training programs.
Main duties:
•Network and participate in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug awareness campaigns.
•Provide support to all Prevention training and substance use/abuse education groups as required.
•Responsible for training members who work within their immediate team and will be cross trained on diverse Prevention programs.
•Participate in health and resource fairs, and other community events for the purpose of providing anti substance use messages.
Requirements:
Requires any combination of education (above the high school level) and/or experience equivalent to seven (7) years in fields such as mental health, substance abuse, training, or counseling that utilize the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
