HumanCentric is a fast-moving eCommerce startup offering home and office technology accessories. We are a global company run by a small and driven team who makes it all come together.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Intern for the Summer of 2019 to work at our office in Skokie, IL. Our internship program is a 10-12 week full-time paid position ($15 an hour, 40 hours per week) that will focus on support our digital marketing presence on Amazon, our website, and other marketplaces. Start and end dates are flexible.

What You Will Accomplish

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Digital Marketing with freedom to innovate and test new ideas at a rapidly growing startup. After you've completed your internship, you can expect to have accomplished the following:

• Created digital marketing assets including product infographics, packaging designs, marketing inserts, website pages, product photos, etc.
• Supported the development and launch of new products by conducting competitor research and keyword analyses
• Performed SEO and keyword audits for our digital presence on Amazon to improve product descriptions to ultimately increase product and brand visibility
• Managed our website's search tool to improve user experience and decrease customer service cases
• Identified optimization opportunities for our content and product pages based on our digital analytics, qualitative data, and A/B testing outcomes
• Worked closely with an experienced entrepreneurial team and gained invaluable knowledge about how the eCommerce industry works
• Supported the launch of potential initiatives such as another social media advertising video campaign, installation and how-to product videos, evaluating our email strategy, and designing and building an Amazon brand store

Qualifications

Professional

• Undergraduate or recent grad in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and photography
• Innovative mindset with a knack for understanding brands and their target audiences
• Proficient in basic Excel data crunching
• Prior marketing experience either through paid/unpaid internships, work experience, or extracurricular activities

Position Details

• $15 per hour
• 40 hours a week; Monday through Friday 10 AM - 6 PM
• Office is located in Skokie, Illinois
• Start and end dates are flexible
